Made with the Battleship New Jersey Museum & Memorial, the official home of the Big J in Camden.
In March 2024, tugs eased the Battleship New Jersey off her Camden pier and down the Delaware. On 27 March she settled into Dry Dock No. 3 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, where she was built and launched on 7 December 1942. For twelve weeks crews stripped her hull to bare metal, repainted it and renewed the protection that keeps her afloat. On 20 June 2024 she came home to Camden.
